2. Disclaimer of Liability

Schoolmate is an educational platform powered by AI and motivational tools. We provide content and support to help children engage with academic material, but we do not guarantee specific results, grades, or learning outcomes.

By using Schoolmate, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Schoolmate is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.
• Parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising their child’s use of the platform.
• The platform is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

3. Digital Goods & Gift Cards

Our platform may offer digital rewards such as gift cards (e.g., Roblox, Nintendo). These cards are delivered electronically via our system or third-party partners.

You agree that:

• Schoolmate is not responsible for any delays, errors, or failures in gift card delivery caused by third-party providers.
• In the event of non-receipt of a gift card, our team will make reasonable efforts to investigate, but Schoolmate cannot guarantee replacement or refund.
• All digital goods are final sale and non-transferable.

4. Refund Policy

Our courses and services are primarily digital and non-tangible. As such, all sales are final.

However, we understand certain situations may arise. Refunds may be considered at our sole discretion if:

• A technical issue prevented access to purchased content.
• You contact us within 7 days of the transaction.

To request a refund, please contact: support@schoolmate.ai with your order ID and reason.

We reserve the right to decline any refund request.

5. Payment Processing

All transactions are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, VAT compliance, and customer service related to payments.

When purchasing through our platform, you agree to Paddle’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting.
